The Road Hazard Warranty (RHW) can no longer be purchased. For those that purchased the RHW at one of our former Beaurepaires stores, rest assured your RHW will continue to apply until the earlier of: 4 years since your date of purchase, until the tyres have been worn to the minimal legal tread depth being 1.6mm or the date the tyres are removed from the vehicle they were purchased for and fitted on at a Beaurepaires or Dunlop Super Dealer store.
Given the closure of our Beaurepaires and the Dunlop Super Dealer stores, RHW claims can only be made at Goodyear Autocare stores.
The RHW was an additional warranty plan to help protect your tyres against certain types of damage. It covers puncture repairs, impact fractures, accidental cuts and kerb damage. If your tyre(s) fail for these reasons, we will provide and fit a repaired or replacement tyre (as appropriate, as determined by Goodyear in its discretion). Puncture repairs are only allowed in the crown area of the tyre, they are not permitted in the bead, sidewall or shoulder area of the tyre. For replacement tyres, you will be charged a pro rata amount of the cost you paid for the original tyre based on your tread usage and any service fees associated with fitment. That means if 10% of the tread on the discarded tyre is worn, you pay 10% of the original price of the discarded tyre for the new replacement tyre. The replacement tyre must be the same brand and type as the discarded tyre, or such alternative substitute as determined by Goodyear.
